Ways to Help
Spread the word
Use the printed materials, email and social media copy in this toolkit to spread the word about the issue of hunger in our community. The more community members working to share the campaign information, the more kids will be able to access the meals they need to thrive. Get it here!
Make a financial contribution
Donate to the Angel Fund
Each school in District 833 has an established Angel Fund account to loan parents funds until a deposit can be made into their student’s meal account. Angel Fund dollars come from an employee giving campaign and private donations. If you'd like to contribute to the Angel Fund, you can do so by contacting Jennifer Keeling at 651-425-6303. When you make your donation, you may choose for the funds to stay at your chosen school or go into in the broader district pool of dollars.
Donate to Your Favorite Nonprofit
There are many organizations providing free or reduced-price food resources to families across our communities. Consider donating food or money to local food shelves, food banks, meal sites, religious organizations or other institutions. You can learn more about the organizations providing meals here.
